Release of Liability Contract
This contract is between Bed, Biscuits & Beyond (hereinafter “Kennel”) and the Pet Owner (hereinafter “Pet Owner”) whose information and signature appears below.

The Kennel agrees to exercise due and reasonable care to keep its premises sanitary and property enclosed.
The Kennel does not assume and shall not be held responsible for any liability with respect to the animal in this agreement, of any kind, character, or nature whatsoever, arising out of or from boarding this animal, or any damages which may accrue from any other cause whatsoever, including Acts of God/Nature, insects, snakes, loss by fire, theft, running away, death, injury or death to persons, animals, property, death or injury to any other animal caused by the Animal during the term of this contract, whether this Animal be on the premises of the Kennel or not, the Pet Owner hereby agrees to be and is solely responsible for any and all acts of behavior of Animal at any time within the term and time of the contract, In no case shall the Kennel be held liable or responsible.
The Pet Owner specifically represents that he is the sole owner of Animal and that there is not now any lien or mortgage against Animal and that the within Animal has not been exposed to distemper or rabies within the last thirty days, and that the required annual Rabies vaccine has been obtained.
All payments to Kennel are due when service is rendered. The Kennel shall have, and is hereby granted, a lien on the Animal for any unpaid boarding and/or other charges resulting from the boarding of Animal with the Kennel. The Pet Owner hereby agrees that in the event that the monthly, weekly or daily boarding charges are not paid within thirty (30) days after they become due and payable in accordance with the terms of this contract, the Kennel may exercise its lien rights. Ten (10) days after notice to Pet Owner Kennel may dispose of Animal for any and all unpaid charges at private or public sale. If such sale does not secure a price adequate to pay for costs of board and/or other charges delinquent plus costs of sale the owner shall be held responsible for the difference. Notice shall be conclusively deemed to have been given pursuant to this paragraph by notice in writing of such intended sale via registered mail to Pet Owner at the address provided by Pet Owner. No further notice shall be provided.
If the Animal becomes ill, the Pet Owner shall be notified at once, or such attempt shall be made to so notify the Pet Owner, if Pet Owner does not immediately inform the Kennel regarding measure to be taken or if the state of the Animal’s health requires quick action, the right to call a veterinarian, transport to a veterinarian or to administer medicine or to give advisable attention within the discretion shall be taken for granted by Kennel, any/all expenses shall be promptly paid by Pet Owner.
Unless the Pet Owner files with Kennel within three (3) days from the date the Animal is removed from the Kennel, with a written claim of injury or damages resulting from the boarding of Animal under this contract, said Pet Owner shall and does hereby waive any and all rights which he may have against the Kennel for any liability arising under this contract for damages, or otherwise.
The singular, as herein used, means also the plural, the masculine gender means also feminine gender. If any word, sentence or section of this agreement be declared invalid, such ruling shall nevertheless not affect any other word, sentence or section. The remedies hereunder are cumulative to Kennel and not alternative. No person is authorized by Kennel to change or waive any of the terms or conditions of this contract and Kennel will not be bound by any changes therein, whether oral or written. All terms and conditions of this agreement shall be binding on the heirs, administrators and assigns of the Pet Owner of the within named Animal. Time is of the essence hereof.
In addition to any actions being instituted by Kennel in order to enforce this contract the said Pet Owner shall be held responsible for any/all Court and/or attorney’s fees incurred by the Kennel.
The Animal is not to be taken off the premises except by consent of the Pet Owner or in an emergency situation that could/would result in harm to the Animal.
The Pet Owner guarantees payment in full of this bill at time of services being rendered. If for any reason this bill is not paid when presented, and is placed in the hands of an attorney for collection, the Pet Owner is responsible for any/all attorneys fees and other such costs as the court may allow.
Interest is charged on overdue bills; 10% per month of total amount due.
By this one time signing of this contract, Pet Owner is in agreement that this visit and any future boarding visits with the Kennel will abide by this same contract.
Pet Owner hereby acknowledges having read this contract in its entirety and agrees to any/all of the terms within. Pet Owner is willingly and voluntarily signing this contract and leaving Animal at Kennel. Pet Owner relinquishes kennel of any/all liability for Animal. Pet Owner recognizes any/all possibilities as mentioned above.
